MY STORY
I have always been drawn to beauty—the kind found in a Bach melody, a Vermeer painting, the quiet elegance of colonial architecture, the richness of Caribbean literature, or the fragrance of nature after rain.
So when I walked into health food stores and a beautiful scent found me before I even saw the soap, I followed it.
It brought back the atmosphere of the day spa, essential oils drifting from diffusers, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature.
Then I discovered what that fragrance could do in the shower—the steam carrying it through the entire room, turning an ordinary bath into something almost magical.
I fell in love.
It was only later that I realized that people were making these beautiful soaps themselves, in small businesses. And I thought: perhaps I could do this too.
That realization eventually became Cherridayle Soaps.
I make them for that moment when fragrance catches you unexpectedly, draws you closer, and makes you want to breathe it in just a little longer.
